There are hundreds of ways to help, and they are not always for someone with a certain skill level.
Please contact the newsletter if you:
• have more ideas for helping
• would like to get on our list to be a volunteer
• are one that would like a volunteer to visit your home
• would like to join our team in organizing this
All participant lists will be kept anonymous.
Another consideration is financial help. There are some families struggling just to pay the bills and keep their house from going on the Foreclosure list. There could be talk about creating a fund for these families. Although this is meant to be a “Volunteer” program, if someone makes an extra effort in the neighborhood, there is a chance you could be rewarded.
Just to be clear, so far this is simply an idea for a way to improve out neighborhood, nothing has been settled. It depends on YOU! We need participation for this to become a reality!
THANK YOU.
